We went to the cliffs of moher on the 3rd day of out trip. The journey through the miles of road till there were worth of it, because the cliffs simply take your breath away.
I'll have to check all other photos, but I chose this one because its different from the gazilions of pictures you'll find on the Internet.
I didn't stayed for the sunset, but I'll advice you to wait for it, because I was there till the beginning of the sunset , and it seems that the place becomes even more special at sunset.
Just don't forget some coats because the place is damn windy!
Oh by the way, in the end of the clifs there's a sign saying :
if you don't care you will be rewarded with strong winds and MAYBE you'll fall of the cliff...But that is only for the ones that "não cheiram a leitinho" :p
well...kids don't try this at home...or cliffs of moher :p
The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's top Visitor attractions. The Cliffs are 214m high at the highest point and range for 8 kilometres over the Atlantic Ocean on the western seaboard of County Clare. O'Brien's Tower stands proudly on a headland of the majestic Cliffs. From the Cliffs one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, as well as The Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and Loop Head to the South.- [LINK]
